About The Position

Lighthouse Youth Services is seeking an enthusiastic HR Specialist - Recruiter to join their team. This role involves attracting, engaging, and hiring exceptional talent who are passionate about making a difference. The ideal candidate will be a talent detective, relationship builder, and people champion, adept at spotting hidden talent, building relationships quickly, and managing multiple priorities effectively.

Requirements

• 3+ years of recruiting and/or HR experience.
• Enjoy talking to people and building relationships.
• Ability to balance multiple openings, deadlines, and priorities.
• Experience using an ATS, HRIS, LinkedIn, and other recruiting tools.
• Understanding of employment laws and recruiting best practices.
• Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Love solving problems and finding creative ways to attract talent.

Nice To Haves

• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar certification
• Experience with high-volume recruiting
• Strong sourcing and talent pipeline development skills
• Experience with recruiting analytics and reporting

Responsibilities

• Find amazing candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, social media, and creative sourcing strategies.
• Manage the full hiring journey from posting jobs and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and extending offers.
• Partner with managers to understand staffing needs and develop winning recruiting strategies.
• Create an outstanding candidate experience that leaves applicants feeling valued and informed.
• Build talent pipelines for current and future opportunities.
• Track recruiting metrics and help continuously improve the hiring process.
• Support onboarding and other HR initiatives to ensure new team members get off to a great start.
• Keep ATS and HR systems organized, accurate, and up to date.
