About The Position

The HR & Safety Coordinator will be on-site at one of our Stockton manufacturing facilities. This person will support daily HR operations, help foster a safe and respectful workplace, and assist in creating a positive and productive culture across the facility. This position is for our 2nd shift (11:00AM-7:30PM, Monday-Friday). This role is 100% onsite in Stockton, CA.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in human resources or administrative support, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable being present and engaged on the production floor

Nice To Haves

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

Build trusted relationships with associates and help address any questions related to policies, benefits, and/or HR procedures
Support new-hire training and onboarding
Partner with our third-party staffing agencies for successful hiring and record keeping
Review and process timecards and attendance records for payroll accuracy
Track and file corrective actions, employee statements, safety incidents, and compliance documents
Complete and file incident reports and employee safety statements
Support and track training for workplace safety programs
Partner with facility leadership to reinforce a culture of safety
Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements
Lead or assist with special HR projects and initiatives to support the facility and company-wide objectives.
