About The Position

The HR Representative provides daily support to the Human Resources team by processing employee data, coordinating onboarding activities, and delivering reliable administrative assistance. This role ensures accurate and timely handling of HR transactions within the HRIS system, maintains compliant employee records, and supports a smooth and professional experience for new hires and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of experience in human resources support, onboarding, or related administrative roles.
  • Strong computer literacy, including experience with HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with required experience using spreadsheet applications such as Excel.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when working with sensitive employee and candidate information.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when processing data and maintaining records.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple onboarding and HR support activities simultaneously.

  • Experience providing administrative support within a Human Resources department.
  • Familiarity with HR support functions, including onboarding and HR operations.
  • Ability to work effectively with service providers and candidates to coordinate pre-employment activities.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with candidates, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Comfort working in an on-site environment and collaborating closely with HR team members.

Responsibilities

  • Process employee transactions in the HRIS system, including new hires, changes of status, terminations, and other related updates.
  • Maintain employee files and records in accordance with internal record retention policies and applicable external government contractor requirements.
  • Provide comprehensive onboarding administration to ensure a smooth and organized experience for new employees.
  • Handle all compliance requirements, drug screens, exams, and other requirements by coordinating with finalist candidates and service providers.
  • Track candidate activities and progress to ensure all steps are completed in time to meet start date deadlines.
  • Dispatch new hire documents to candidates once approvals are received, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR Operations team as needed, including data entry, documentation, and coordination tasks.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive employee and candidate information.
