About The Position

Genesis Global Group is seeking a full-time, self-motivated individual for an entry-level HR Representative Trainee position. This role offers the opportunity to learn a wide array of HR topics, including recruiting, employee relations, progressive discipline, benefits basics, and time and attendance. The trainee will eventually serve as the HR Representative for several lines of business within the Company. Genesis Global Group is a consortium of vertically integrated companies focused on improving patient care through expertise in drug discovery, personalized diagnostics, and biotechnology product development, manufacturing, and distribution. Genesis Hospitality encompasses restaurants, bars, inns, event spaces, bakeries, and boutique hotels, all committed to crafting exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

• BS in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Labor Relations or related field
• 0-1 year HR experience
• Positive attitude
• Willingness to learn
• Strong verbal/written communication skills in English
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
• Team player
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher & Outlook)

Nice To Haves

• Spanish preferred
• Proficiency in Dayforce preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sourcing and recruitment process
• Coordinate staffing changes for payroll
• Act as liaison to employees and managers for all inquiries and requests under the guidance of a HR Rep Team Lead
• Enforce all corporate policies with the HR Rep Team Lead
• Coordinate and conduct training programs throughout the year
• Assist in planning company events as required
• Coordinate progressive discipline process under the guidance of HR Rep Team Lead
• Coordinate coaching & counseling under the guidance of HR Rep Team Lead
• Conduct monthly compliance audits
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
• Assist management with special projects as required
