About The Position

Brda Electric is a family-owned electrical contractor with over 35 years of success serving residential, commercial, and solar customers. We’re entering an exciting stage of growth with an ambitious 5-year vision. We’re looking for an energetic, highly organized, people-first HR & Recruiting Specialist who’s excited to help us attract top talent, strengthen our culture, and support the incredible team that powers Brda Electric every day. This is not a behind-the-scenes HR role where you’re buried in paperwork all day. You’ll be a key player in helping shape the future of our company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships
  • Takes pride in being organized and detail-oriented
  • Communicates professionally and confidently
  • Can juggle multiple priorities without losing focus
  • Handles confidential information with integrity

Responsibilities

  • Create compelling job postings
  • Source and engage candidates
  • Screen resumes and coordinate interviews
  • Conduct interviews and assist hiring managers
  • Build interview guides and hiring processes
  • Extend offers and support onboarding
  • Create an exceptional candidate experience from start to finish
  • Foster a positive, values-driven culture
  • Coordinate company events and team activities
  • Lead engaging onboarding experiences
  • Support employee recognition initiatives
  • Help facilitate culture surveys and action planning
  • Administer benefits and answer employee questions
  • Support compensation and reward programs
  • Assist with performance management processes
  • Help ensure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices
  • Maintain confidential employee records with accuracy and professionalism
  • Support training and development programs including: Apprenticeship programs, Tuition reimbursement, Safety training
  • Occasionally assist with travel arrangements
  • Occasionally assist with ordering office supplies
