About The Position

The Seasonal HR Recruiter is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment for a high-volume, seasonal workforce. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to develop sourcing strategies, assess talent, and ensure timely onboarding while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and employment regulations. This is a seasonal role from May until September 13, 2026. The pre-tournament schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, five days a week at the National Tennis Center, Queens, NY, with flexibility required for occasional weekend events (e.g., job fairs). During the tournament, the schedule involves up to 12-hour shifts, Monday–Sunday (7 days per week), with flexibility for opening, mid, or closing shifts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience, with a strong focus on talent acquisition or recruiting
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and/or HRIS platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret recruiting metrics and workforce data
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to meet aggressive hiring deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and compliance
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Experience in high-volume recruitment environments strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Execute full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies utilizing job boards, direct sourcing, and talent pipelines to meet staffing demands
  • Partner with hiring managers to conduct workforce planning, define role requirements, and establish candidate success profiles
  • Conduct behavioral and competency-based interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications and organizational fit
  • Manage candidate pipelines within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data integrity and timely status updates
  • Generate and analyze weekly recruiting metrics and staffing reports; ensure adherence to hiring timelines and workforce targets
  • Maintain working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment regulations; ensure consistent communication to candidates and new hires
  • Facilitate onboarding processes, including documentation collection, training certification tracking, and start date coordination
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to align hiring timelines with operational needs and ensure workforce readiness
  • Support recruitment for additional non–US Open events as needed
  • Represent the organization at career fairs and external recruiting events; build talent pipelines and employer brand presence
  • Manage and maintain job postings across internal and external platforms
  • Provide guidance and task delegation to HR Assistants supporting recruitment operations
  • Escalate and document employee relations matters in accordance with HR protocols
  • Support operational onboarding activities, including credentialing and uniform distribution
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
