About The Position

Ironworks welding is looking for a friendly, organized and professional HR receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients, visitors and staff. In this role, you will set the tone for every interaction and play a key part in keeping daily operations running smoothly. The requirements listed in this job description are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required and must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in a professional office setting. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers and filing cabinets. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This position may require occasional evening work as job duties demand. Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to develop and maintain strong work relations with team
  • Must have effective communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with formulas, pivot tables and data formatting is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with time tracking system, such as QB Time.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and participate in the random testing pool
  • Must pass a motor vehicle record check and background check
  • Arrange for reliable transportation to and from work
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Previous receptionist experience, preferred
  • Microsoft office experience, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors and clients
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls and respond to general inquires by phone or email.
  • Accept and sign for packages and deliver to appropriate personnel
  • Maintain and update weekly reports for management
  • Maintain and update job tracking system
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries
  • Maintain the visitor log, manage the gate for deliveries and notifying personnel
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it remains tidy and presentable at all times
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and record keeping
  • Provide support for onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records
  • Assist with scheduling interviews and coordinating HR-related events
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as required
