About The Position

Design, develop, implement, facilitate, and manage programs in alignment with CHOP's mission and strategic priorities. Leads the execution, management and promotion of one or more programs. Responsible for identifying trends and making recommendations for program enhancements. This role may be accountable for managing relationships with vendors. Develops polices consistent with processes and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This level may also be responsible for contributing to or leading special projects. Project work could also involve data and reporting, creating training or communications related to the program(s). Works with general supervision. Problems faced may be difficult but typically not complex. May influence others through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED - Required
  • At least three (3) years relevant experience - Required
  • Organizational Impact: Works to achieve operational targets within job area; impacts departmental results. Works on larger, moderately complex projects/programs. Works with supervisor on objectives for role to meet goals of program being managed. (Required proficiency)
  • Innovation & Complexity: Responsible for making adjustments or recommended enhancements in systems/processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area. Problems and issues faced are general, and may require understanding of broader set of issues but typically are not complex. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experience, with analysis of the issue. (Required proficiency)
  • Communication & Influence: Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Communicates with contacts typically within the department with matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation in order to reach agreement. May work to influence parties within own job function at an operational level. May have responsibility for communicating with parties external to CHOP (vendors, customers). (Required proficiency)
  • Leadership & Talent Management: May provide general guidance and assistance to others. (Required proficiency)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • Experience managing cross-functional programs, projects, or initiatives - Preferred
  • Prior experience in HR process improvement and agile methodology (sprint work) - Preferred
  • Experience with Workday and ServiceNow - Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinated management of programs and projects, directed toward the achievement of common objective
  • Manages cost, schedule, resources and other components of a project and operations to ensure successful delivery of the program
  • Responsible for stakeholder management both internal or external to CHOP
