Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 4–8 years of experience in HR, people operations, or office management (internships included).
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Google Suite; familiarity with Rippling, Notion, and applicant tracking systems is a plus.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a visible, trusted resource for employees and managers across all studio locations.
  • Spend significant time in studios building relationships and strengthening team connection.
  • Partner with managers on performance conversations, engagement, development, and team health.
  • Support employee relations matters with discretion, empathy, and sound judgment.
  • Actively reinforce a culture of accountability, inclusivity, and excellence.
  • Own and continuously improve core people processes: onboarding, offboarding, performance cycles, engagement initiatives, and development programs.
  • Ensure onboarding creates connection, clarity, and culture from day one.
  • Maintain and enhance HR policies, documentation, and employee-facing resources.
  • Support benefits administration, leaves of absence, and employee lifecycle changes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal standards.
  • Maintain accurate people data in Rippling and related systems.
  • Build dashboards and reporting around engagement, retention, performance, hiring, and workforce trends.
  • Identify patterns, risks, and opportunities—bringing proactive insights to the HR Director.
  • Support workforce planning, headcount tracking, and compensation analysis.
  • Partner with recruiting and hiring managers to ensure a smooth, equitable hiring process.
  • Support interview coordination, role scoping, and candidate experience.
  • Help ensure new hires feel connected, informed, and set up for success.
  • Help design and execute engagement initiatives, studio visits, town halls, summits, and cultural moments.
  • Strengthen communication across locations to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Act as a daily steward of company values and community.
