The primary purpose of this job position is to assist the DSD/DON/Administrator in administering policies and implementing facility orientation. This role involves supporting organizational goals, upholding strict confidentiality, and being a team-oriented, results-oriented self-starter. The position assists in organizing new employee orientation, maintaining knowledge of legal requirements, and supporting recruitment and onboarding. It also administers benefits programs, coordinates with the Risk Manager on HR/WC cases, schedules in-services, and maintains records of attendance. The role assists in coordinating the safety program, scheduling health examinations, documenting drills, and promoting good public relations. It involves advertising positions, answering questions, contributing to team efforts, and maintaining regular attendance and dependability. Additionally, this role may assist with payroll duties, participate in facility surveys, and develop good working relationships with inter-department personnel. It assists in recording incidents/accidents and filing them according to policy. A key responsibility is managing workflow to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including monitoring garnishments, updating payroll records, issuing paychecks, preparing reports, processing manual checks and termination payroll, determining payroll liabilities, monitoring accruals, completing employment verifications, preparing payroll allocation reports, reconciling payroll, and providing payroll information. The role also maintains confidentiality of payroll information and partners with HRBPs on complex HR cases, completing audits and corrections for compliance.
