Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in HR and payroll administration
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, professionalism and integrity
  • Experience supporting the employee life cycle including onboarding, internal movements and offboarding processes
  • Familiarity with HR best practices, compliance standards, and recordkeeping requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop creative solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity, tone, and professionalism
  • High level of initiative, dependability, and self-motivation, with a proactive can-do attitude
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and positive working relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Experience with data entry, reporting, and document management in HR systems
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with HR trends and technologies

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using HRIS systems such as UKG or Rippling preferred
  • Knowledge of payroll processes and multi-state compliance preferred
  • International HR exposure or experience working with global teams is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and compliant new hire experience
  • Manage global payroll activities ensuring accurate processing of benefits deductions, reimbursements and employee updates
  • Calculate and validate monthly sales commissions; accurately input data into payroll systems
  • Track and validate quarterly bonus documentation, ensuring proper approvals and accurate calculations
  • Process and reconcile 401(k), RRSP, HSA and FSA contributions through third-party platforms
  • Responsible for day-to-day administrative HR tasks - preparing offer letters, scheduling, filing, updating internal databases
  • Point of contact for benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries
  • Monitor Learning Management System (LMS) compliance and track global training requirements to ensure timely completion
  • Track certification expirations and ensure timely renewals
  • Draft and process employee status change documentation (promotions, compensation changes, transfers)
  • Manage employment verification requests (VOEs)
  • Support workers’ compensation documentation and state compliance requirements
  • Responsible for maintenance and auditing of personnel files
  • Assist with full-cycle recruiting including scheduling interviews, posting jobs, screening candidates, and coordinating offers and background check compliance
  • Generate reports on PTO usage, headcount, payroll, and compliance metrics
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across HRIS, payroll, and recruiting system
  • Serve as a resource to employees by guiding them through HR processes and responding to policy and benefit-related inquiries
  • Assist with processing terminations and employee offboarding
  • Responsible for E-Verify compliance
  • Compile HR reporting from HRIS, Applicant Tracking System, recognition platform
  • Conduct audits of payroll, benefits and other HR programs and recommend corrective actions
  • Support annual compensation review cycle and merit increase tracking
  • Assist with executing and organizing employee engagement initiatives and company events
