About The Position

DavidsonTeal is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented HR Payroll Specialist to join our team. This is an on-site position, and we are looking for someone who is available to work from our office. This role is responsible for supporting payroll operations across multiple areas of the company while ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. Nice To Haves

• Payroll certification such as FPC or CPP is a plus
• Previous payroll experience preferred
• HR experience preferred
• Experience with payroll software and Microsoft Excel preferred

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain employee payroll information including pay updates, deductions, direct deposits, and other payroll-related changes
• Review payroll data for accuracy and ensure all approvals and deadlines are met each pay period
• Assist with payroll adjustments such as bonuses, commissions, and other compensation changes
• Work with benefit deductions, tax withholdings, garnishments, and other third-party payroll items
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and assist with account reconciliations
• Support payroll reporting needs for leadership, benefits, taxes, and compliance requirements
• Maintain accurate payroll records and assist with audits or verification requests as needed
• Partner with internal departments and outside vendors to ensure payroll processes run smoothly
• Stay informed on payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance updates
