About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR / Payroll Clerk to join our team at Palm Bay Ford. This role involves managing payroll processes accurately and efficiently while supporting various human resources functions. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining confidentiality, ensuring compliance with company policies, and contributing to a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in payroll processing and human resources support.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and HR information systems.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in HR or payroll are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring all employee hours and deductions are correctly recorded.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HR database.
  • Assist with on boarding new hires, including paperwork and orientation scheduling.
  • Support benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and HR policies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Collaborate with management to resolve payroll discrepancies and other HR-related issues.
  • Prepare reports related to payroll and human resources as required.
