About The Position

The Human Resources, Payroll & Benefits Generalist serves as the primary HR partner for the Alpharetta Regional Headquarters, supporting approximately 100+ employees across a broad range of human resources activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, engagement initiatives, performance management, HRIS administration, and day-to-day HR operations. This role is responsible for delivering a positive employee experience while supporting managers and employees throughout the employee lifecycle. In addition to its local HR Generalist responsibilities, this position will be supporting payroll and benefits administration under the direction of the Payroll and Benefits Manager for employees across the United States. The role assists with payroll processes, benefits administration, employee inquiries, compliance activities, and related HR programs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and an exceptional employee experience nationwide.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of Human Resources Generalist experience, supporting multiple HR functions across the employee lifecycle.
  • Minimum of 2 years of payroll and benefits administration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and employment law compliance.
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems; experience with SuccessFactors, ADP Workforce Now, and ADP eTime is preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, and/or multi-state environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for the Regional Headquarters, managing a broad range of human resources activities while supporting payroll and benefits administration under the guidance of the Americas Payroll & Benefits Manager.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, engagement initiatives, performance management, HRIS administration (SuccessFactors), payroll support (ADP), and other HR operational processes.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate communications, interview scheduling, pre-employment screening, background and reference checks, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Lead and maintain regional HR systems, databases, and documentation, including the Explorer training platform, OpenText employee files, U.S. policies, employee handbook, and other HR records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, supporting policy development, updates, HR audits, compliance reviews, and implementation of HR best practices.
  • Handle sensitive and complex employee matters with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality, providing guidance and support to employees and managers while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Coordinate and delegate HR-related communications and administrative activities, partnering with site administrative staff and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective execution and consistent messaging.
  • Champion allnex's culture, values, and employee experience initiatives, while promoting continuous improvement and staying current on emerging HR trends, practices, and regulatory changes.
  • Review and audit payroll transactions, including earnings, deductions, garnishments, taxes, and timekeeping records.
  • Coordinate payroll changes related to new hires, terminations, promotions, and compensation adjustments.
  • Reconcile payroll reports and collaborate with Finance on payroll-related matters.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding pay, deductions, taxes, and payroll discrepancies.
  • Support employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
  • Support employee enrollments, life event changes, and benefit terminations.
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment activities and employee communications.
  • Assist employees in understanding benefit offerings and resolving benefit issues.
  • Support tracking of key reports, FMLA/STD/LTD,WC, including related reports to payroll.
