About The Position

Transportation Resource Management, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HR/Payroll Administrator to support our Human Resources and Payroll teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about helping employees and supporting daily business operations. The HR/Payroll Administrator will assist with employee relations, benefits administration, payroll support, compliance processes, recordkeeping, and HRIS maintenance. This position may require occasional local and out-of-state travel as needed. This is an in-person role based in either North Richland Hills, TX, Phoenix, AZ, or Converse, TX. Regular onsite attendance is essential for collaboration, employee interaction, and operational support.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of HR or Payroll experience preferred
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with business software and HR/payroll systems preferred
  • Ability to work accurately with strong attention to detail
  • Bilingual in Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions via phone and email
  • Assist employees with employee self-service portal registration, benefit enrollment, payroll deductions and tax inquiries, and HR-related processes and forms
  • Assist with new hire onboarding, file setup, and compliance auditing
  • Support benefits administration including Open Enrollment and new hire enrollment
  • Assist with core HR functions including Change of Status processing, Change of Relationship processing, and related documentation and compliance items
  • Prepare subpoena and litigation-related documentation
  • Maintain and process electronic HR records and documentation
  • Assist with leave of absence administration
  • Reconcile invoices related to return-to-work exams, fit-for-duty testing, and drug screens
  • Process daily mail including wage and benefit audits and unemployment claims
  • Assist with 401(k) annual reporting, ACA 1095-C reporting, and employment verification requests
  • Create and distribute HR and payroll communication materials
  • Assist with payroll processing and auditing support
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries
  • Process sign-on and referral bonuses
  • Support preparation and payment of employee incentive programs
  • Audit and process employee timecards
  • Report meal period violations to the HR Department
