We are currently looking to add a Human Resource s Manager to joi n our team. Reporting to the VP of HR, this role will be responsible for leading, managing, and developing our HR team members while ensuring excellence in our HR operations including employee experience, performance management, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Background in mid-sized, manufacturing organizations.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience.

  • HRCI or SHRM certification a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop HR team members.
  • Ensure excellence in HR operations including employee experience, performance management, and compliance.
  • Lead employee relations and internal communication efforts.
  • Ensure fair, consistent, and timely investigations.
  • Coach leaders on strong communication and documentation.
  • Strengthen communication across shifts to ensure clarity and connection.
  • Provide oversight for full-cycle recruiting, administration of assessments, and support initiatives that drive belonging, recognition, and retention efforts.
  • Identify employee needs and create meaningful engagement opportunities.
  • Oversee the optimization of the HRIS system to ensure proper HR metric visibility and record keeping.
  • Assist the HR team in ensuring accuracy within payroll and benefits administration, leave management.
  • Serve as the liaison for safety and workers' compensation functions.
  • Partner with the VP of HR to build a culture of development for employees and fostering a strong employee experience.
  • Empower people to grow and build their careers and skills to their fullest potential.
  • Ensure company compliance with all federal, state and local laws related to employee benefits, compensation, employment and training.
  • Remain current with changes in human resource and employment law.
  • Manage company relationships with state and local regulatory agencies.
  • Serve as an internal consultant to other leaders within the organization.
  • Lead, coach, advise and mediate employee relations situations.
  • Review corrective actions and performance documentation to ensure fairness and consistency.
  • Foster and enhance justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts and outcomes by embedding equitable practices in hiring, development, and engagement.
