The global Human Resource (HR) Function provides an integrated talent management system that delivers a workforce that is Corning's competitive differentiator in the global marketplace. HR provides service offerings that align solutions to business challenges by ensuring the programs are Effective, Efficient, Global, Scaleable, and Repeatable. Corning’s Values are operationalized by the HR Function through the facilitation of Talent Management offerings, as well as programs and processes that aid in making Corning’s Values visible. The Human Resources Manager will primarily be responsible for establishing and implementing HR processes and governance across Corning Optical Communication (COC) sites, to ensure compliance with the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct and Validated Assessment Program (VAP). Secondly, responsibilities will include support for all aspects of human resources practices and processes and will support strategic and operational HR initiatives across COC. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing guidance in areas such as RBA, employee relations, compliance, performance management, organizational development, policy implementation, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
