About The Position

The Human Resources Manager (HRM) serves as the primary executional HR leader supporting field operations within an assigned region or market. This role is responsible for delivering day-to-day HR support, ensuring compliance, driving consistency in HR processes, and partnering closely with operational leadership to support workforce needs. The HRM plays a critical role in stabilizing operations through strong employee relations support, onboarding execution, and alignment with enterprise HR initiatives. This position is highly visible and requires a proactive, hands-on approach in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in multi-site or field-based environments
  • Strong employee relations and investigation experience
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-demand environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, EMS, behavioral health, or other 24/7 operational environments
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
  • Experience supporting large, distributed workforces

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR partner for field leadership, providing timely support on employee relations, staffing challenges, and day-to-day HR needs
  • Support hiring and onboarding processes in partnership with Talent Acquisition and Operations
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, SOPs, and company standards across assigned markets
  • Lead and manage employee relations issues, including investigations, corrective action, and terminations
  • Partner with leadership to ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes
  • Document all cases thoroughly and maintain appropriate records
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal policies
  • Support certification, licensure, and training compliance in coordination with Operations and Compliance teams
  • Identify and escalate potential risk areas proactively
  • Oversee onboarding execution to ensure a consistent and positive employee experience
  • Partner with Operations to improve retention through early engagement and support
  • Monitor trends in turnover and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Support rollout and execution of enterprise initiatives (performance evaluations, compensation structures, onboarding standardization, etc.)
  • Ensure adoption and consistency across assigned markets
  • Provide feedback to HR leadership on program effectiveness
  • Monitor key HR metrics (turnover, vacancy, time to hire, employee relations trends)
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve operational performance
  • Maintain accurate data within HRIS systems (Paycom)
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Ensure all actions align with company values and operational standards
