About The Position

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc., a Fortune 1,000 company, is seeking an HR Manager for its Vishay HiRel Systems location in Dover, NH. This role will support the Dover location within the Vishay Inductors Division, focusing on day-to-day tactical HR activities and fostering relationships within the site. The HR Manager will provide full-cycle Human Resources support, collaborating with site leadership on talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational change. Key responsibilities include executing employee engagement initiatives, providing internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. The company manufactures a vast portfolio of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components essential for innovative designs across various markets, including automotive, industrial, computing, consumer, telecommunications, military, aerospace, and medical. Vishay aims to help the world's most in-demand technologies come to life.

Requirements

  • BS in Human Resources or Business Management.
  • 2+ years related experience in Human Resources.
  • Solid analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office products. (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
  • Must qualify as a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15, due to access to information subject to ITAR and/or EAR regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems (Workday) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with site leadership in the oversight and execution of key talent management processes such as workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, talent development, promotions, change leadership, and organizational design and development.
  • Take a true hands-on approach with leaders to help drive business results, improve working relationships, strengthen morale, and increase productivity and employee engagement.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, influencing business decisions and results.
  • Partner with key members of the HR team to analyze trends and metrics which inform meaningful program and policy decision and creation.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of associates, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers (coaching, counseling, career development, corrective actions).
  • Collaborate with other HR team members to manage projects or provide input on HR-related programs and practices.
  • Act as a neutral party, providing a balanced perspective for both employees and leaders.
