This position is responsible for Firmwide human resource functions, including resource planning, recruitment, performance evaluations, disciplinary procedures, benefits and employee relations. The HR Manager will provide managerial and administrative support to the Chief Human Resources Officer in all human resource functions of the Firm, continuously evaluating current Firm policies & procedures and making recommendations for improvement. This includes overseeing recruiting, hiring, development and retention programs in compliance with state/federal regulations and recommended employment law practices. The role involves determining staffing needs, meeting benchmarked staffing ratios, and overseeing non-exempt personnel. Additionally, the HR Manager will manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and compliance with leave of absence requests. Collaboration with the Chief Human Resources Officer and Payroll and Benefits Coordinator on benefit plans, including the 401(k)/Profit Sharing Plan, is essential. The position also requires ensuring updated job descriptions, keeping leadership informed of HR matters, assisting with reports and financial analysis, and aiding in the integration of new attorneys. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Chief Human Resources Officer or Firm Managing Partners.
