About The Position

The Human Resources Manager will oversee and manage all Human Resource (HR) functions and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new software applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication; comfortable building relationships with employees across various levels and groups.
  • Strong time management skills; capable of managing and balancing multiple tasks/priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Strong sense of urgency, ownership, and follow-through.
  • Ability and desire to work collaboratively with team members within the region, as well as across the company.
  • Visibility of work requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Paycom or other HRIS a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to regional property management leasing offices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, compensation administration, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) management, leave management, and personnel recordkeeping for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR-related regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and EEO.
  • Maintain, update, and enforce HR policies/procedures, standard operating procedures, and employee handbook updates.
  • Manage HR budgets, including training and compliance spend.
  • Manage all employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, and voluntary benefits.
  • Manage annual benefits renewal, broker relationships, plan design evaluation, and cost containment strategies.
  • Oversee and serve as backfill for biweekly payroll processing; manage wage garnishments, court ordered withholdings, and payroll compliance.
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for all employee relations matters, including investigations, corrective actions, conflict resolution, and coaching.
  • Facilitate the performance review process and coach managers on goal setting, feedback and employee development.
  • Provide guidance to managers on employee engagement, retention strategies, and workforce planning.
  • Plan and manage various employee events.
  • Support recruiting strategy; create job postings, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews.
  • Develop and update job descriptions as needed.
  • Develop and deliver employee and manager needs assessment and training.
  • Advise executive leadership on organizational design, culture, succession planning, and HR best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for policy and process improvement, automation, and HR modernization.
  • Lead HR initiatives that support company growth and workforce readiness.
