About The Position

The Human Resources Manager serves as the primary HR leader for a high-volume, 24/7 food and beverage manufacturing facility. This role partners with plant and corporate leadership to manage employee relations, compliance, recruiting, performance management, and talent development while supporting a safe, productive workplace.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience and 3+ years managing an HR team.
Strong expertise in California labor and employment law is required.
Experience handling complex employee relations and investigations.
Strong HRIS experience; Paylocity preferred.
Excellent communication, judgment, confidentiality, and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing, food/beverage, or regulated production experience preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as the site expert on California and federal employment law, including wage/hour, FEHA, CFRA, PDL, PAGA, and leave requirements.
Lead, coach, and develop the HR Generalist team.
Manage complex employee relations matters, investigations, corrective actions, and performance management.
Partner with legal counsel on employment claims and workplace issues.
Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions.
Identify compliance risks and implement policies, training, and process improvements.
Support leaves of absence and reasonable accommodation processes.
Partner with plant leadership on workforce planning and organizational needs.
Use HR metrics and HRIS data to identify trends and support business decisions.
Maintain accurate HRIS records and employee documentation; Paylocity experience preferred.
Support training programs and ensure compliance with GMP, GFSI, and safety requirements.
Provide HR support across a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
