About The Position

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a high energy, employee focused, hands-on bilingual Human Resources Manager to join our team located in Tulsa, OK. Successful candidates will be dependable, approachable, capable of handling a broad range of HR responsibilities with minimal supervision, and fluent in both English and Spanish.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
At least five (5) years of HR experience demonstrating a progression of responsibility is required
Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Professional communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Computer proficiency using MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
Fluent in both English and Spanish

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing, industrial, and/or multi-location experience highly preferred
HR Certification is advantageous
Experience with Safety and/or Worker's Compensation claim management is preferred
Practical, critical thinking, and ownership of responsibilities
Comfortable working directly with employees at all levels of the organization
Helping build a positive workplace culture

Responsibilities

Manage employee life-cycle processes (onboarding through offboarding)
Assist employees with benefit-related questions
Manage employee relations including investigations, progressive discipline, performance management and conflict resolution
Help develop and implement HR policies and procedures
Coordinate with safety personnel regarding workers’ compensation and leave administration
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
Support training and employee development initiatives
Mentor and train HR Assistants and junior personnel as appropriate
