About The Position

This internship focuses on various aspects of Human Resources, including recruiting, employee experience, leadership development, talent management, organization design, HR analytics, continuous improvement, and employee relations. The intern will partner with HR professionals and leaders to support key business and talent priorities, build strong working relationships, and take ownership of assigned projects. The role emphasizes collaboration, communication, curiosity, and a willingness to learn, with attention to detail and receptiveness to feedback.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university pursuing an undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
  • Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer.
  • Interest in being considered for an HR Rotational Program in several different field manufacturing locations across the US following graduation.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to identify hiring needs and support the recruitment process.
  • Support onboarding activities to help create a positive new hire experience.
  • Support leaders with employee engagement action planning efforts.
  • Assist with leadership development, training and learning initiatives.
  • Support talent reviews, succession planning, and midyear performance conversations.
  • Assist with org design initiatives including job architecture and organizational structure projects that support business needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and the employee experience.
  • Gather, analyze and interpret HR metrics to identify trends and help inform decision making.
  • Observe, assist and lead through employee relations matters, and policy interpretation.
