About The Position

The Human Resources Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting HR operations in a manufacturing environment at ZF Off-Highway Solutions Minnesota Inc. The internship offers exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, training and development, compliance, employee relations initiatives, and other HR disciplines. The intern will work with experienced HR professionals and collaborate with employees, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to support business objectives and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, or a related field.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrated professionalism and a willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous internship, administrative, customer service, or office experience.

Responsibilities

Assist with recruiting activities, including interview scheduling and applicant tracking.
Support onboarding processes and new hire orientation activities.
Maintain employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
Assist with employee engagement, recognition, and communication programs.
Coordinate training activities and maintain training records.
Support HR reporting, audits, and compliance-related initiatives.
Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement efforts.
Collaborate with employees, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
Perform additional duties and assignments as needed to support the Human Resources function.
