About The Position

The HR Information Systems Analyst reports to the Senior Director – Systems, Analytics, Payroll, and HR Service Center. They carry out specific mandates related to HR systems and service operations. They play a central role in configuring, improving, and optimizing security within Workday. They analyze specific situations and recommend appropriate solutions. They act as a point of contact for questions related to their module and contribute to achieving the operational objectives and special projects of the Senior Director.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in administration, specializing in information systems, computer science, human resources, or a related and relevant discipline.
  • Possess a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Have a good knowledge of IT tools such as the Office suite, HRIS systems.
  • Demonstrate leadership and a strong ability to work in a team.
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple files simultaneously.
  • Rigor and follow-through, experience in project mode (agile).
  • Have a good knowledge of the Workday system, security, and operations related to the human resources sector.
  • Mastery of the French language, both oral and written.
  • Functional mastery of the English language, both oral and written, due to the nature of the tasks or interactions with English-speaking colleagues, partners, clients, or suppliers, or to meet the company's growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the business side manager and other Workday leads to adhere to the executive vice-president's roadmap for projects, mandates, and optimizations.
  • Participate in maintaining current operations (address specific issues that arise, analyze and explain these situations, identify solutions to implement, participate in the implementation of these solutions) and propose areas for improvement.
  • Perform complex operations requiring specific or specialized expertise and knowledge in HR systems (particularly the Workday system).
  • Evaluate the potential and impacts of new features proposed by Workday twice a year.
  • Provide analyses and recommendations, and proceed with activations when required.
  • Participate in various activities related to project execution (analysis, development, execution, and validation of tests).
  • Participate in project implementation (setting up the operational environment, supporting the preparation and dissemination of training, providing user support during the ramp-up period; user support during the post-implementation period).
  • Participate, in conjunction with other departments, in projects impacting the operations of the executive vice-president.
  • Collaborate with external or internal stakeholders to obtain or provide information related to the smooth running of operations, new practices, and targeted improvements.
  • Participate in achieving established objectives and monitoring their realization.
  • Participate in establishing policies, procedures, and guidelines concerning the team's operations.
  • Participate in change management, communication, and training activities.
