The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of key human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, training and development, and employee engagement initiatives. This position serves as a trusted resource to employees and leaders by providing guidance on HR programs, policies, and procedures while ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable regulations. HR Generalist manages routine HR activities, resolves employee concerns, supports organizational initiatives, and contributes to a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge of human resources principles, practices, programs, and procedures.
Understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and HRIS systems.
Ability to analyze information, exercise sound judgment, and resolve routine HR issues effectively.
Ability to perform work in an office environment and utilize standard office equipment.
Occasional travel may be required based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Resolve routine employee concerns and provide guidance on employee relations matters.
Interpret and communicate HR policies, procedures, programs, and benefits to employees and management.
Advise managers on standard employee-related issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Support the implementation of workforce relations initiatives and employee engagement strategies
Recruit, screen, interview, and evaluate internal and external candidates for open positions.
Coordinate and facilitate the new employee onboarding and orientation process.
Partner with hiring managers to ensure effective and positive candidate experience.
Assist with annual performance management processes and salary planning activities.
Generate reports and analyze HR-related data to support decision-making and workforce planning.
Provide administrative and operational support for compensation and workforce planning programs.
Coordinate training programs and learning opportunities for employees.
Support the implementation of development initiatives that enhance employee skills and performance.
Assist in the administration of training records and related documentation.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
Serve as a resource for HR projects and initiatives within assigned business units and across the organization.
Support continuous improvement of HR programs, processes, and employee experiences
Conduct all activities in a manner consistent with the company's mission, values, Code of Ethics, policies, and standards of conduct.
Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, respect, and inclusion.
Ensure direct reports (if applicable) adhere to company policies and expectations
