Join Our Team as an HR Generalist: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to deliver comprehensive HR support across payroll, benefits administration, and recruitment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance, enhancing employee experience, and supporting operational excellence in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of HR experience with a focus on payroll and benefits.
  • Proficiency in Paylocity required (minimm of two years)
  • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, OSHA, and other labor regulations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, and follow-through.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time.
  • Audit timecards for PTO, missed punches, and corrections.
  • Manage payroll adjustments including garnishments, retro pay, and bonuses.
  • Maintain payroll records in accordance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related questions.
  • Support open enrollment and employee education initiatives.
  • Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and ensure accurate payroll deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, ERISA, and ACA regulations.
  • Source candidates through job boards, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and support hiring managers.
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment metrics.
  • Coordinate onboarding schedules and ensure a seamless new hire experience.
  • Manage workers’ compensation claims and coordinate with third-party administrators.
  • Track injury reports and maintain OSHA 300/301 logs.
  • Support return-to-work plans and modified duty assignments.
  • Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and related safety documentation.
  • Partner with Operations on toolbox talks and safety compliance audits.
