About The Position

Anyware Robotics is seeking a resourceful and adaptable HR Generalist to support its growing team in a fast-paced startup environment. This role encompasses a broad range of HR and operations work, with a strong focus on recruiting, HR operations, and building a high-performance culture. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, quick to learn new processes and AI tools, and eager to contribute to building HR practices from the ground up.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of experience in an HR Generalist, People Ops, or talent acquisition role.
  • Hands-on recruiting experience, including ATS and HRIS tools.
  • Experience supporting benefits, payroll, performance management, or employee relations.
  • Working knowledge of California employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in using AI tools to automate routine work and improve efficiency.
  • Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and frequently changing priorities.
  • Passion for building teams and fostering a collaborative, mission-driven, high-performance workplace.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a startup, high-growth, or tech/hardware company.
  • Experience recruiting technical talent (engineering, robotics, AI).
  • Experience with office administration, basic accounting, or expense-management tools.
  • Experience planning engagement programs, recognition initiatives, or company events.

Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruiting for engineers, roboticists, and business professionals, including job postings, sourcing, interview coordination, offers, and onboarding handoff.
  • Maintain strong candidate pipelines and ensure candidate information and hiring progress are accurate in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Deliver a responsive and professional candidate experience that reflects Anyware’s culture.
  • Support employer branding initiatives such as the careers page, job postings, social content, and events.
  • Support employee relations, benefits administration, payroll coordination, performance management, and day-to-day HR administration.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and support compliance with California and federal employment requirements.
  • Streamline People systems and workflows, utilizing automation and AI.
  • Run a seamless onboarding experience to ensure new hires become productive quickly and feel integrated into the team.
  • Drive employee engagement through feedback, recognition programs, team-building events, and off-sites.
  • Partner with the People Ops Lead and leadership team to promote a culture of integrity, innovation, mission-driven execution, and high performance.
  • Coordinate daily office operations, including supplies, vendors, facilities, and equipment.
  • Provide basic accounting support, including organizing invoices, receipts, and expense records.
