About The Position

The HR Generalist supports hospital recruitment and onboarding. The role manages job postings, screens applicants, coordinates interviews, and assists department leaders in hiring qualified staff. It also supports new employees through their first six months to promote a successful transition into the organization. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, and reports to the Senior Director of Human Resources.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• At least one year of previous recruitment experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with ADP or another HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate personnel functions, including the hiring process and new-hire onboarding.
• Manage job postings, screen applicants, and coordinate interviews.
• Follow new employees through their first six months of employment.
• Maintain the HRIS recruitment system.
• Assist the HR Director with new-hire orientation.
• Participate in interview panels.
• Attend seminars, workshops, career events, and professional affiliation meetings.
• Maintain professional affiliation with applicable organizations.
• Attend meetings and participate in committees as required.
• Assist in maintaining job descriptions.
• Cross-train in other human resources functions to support the department.
• Promote good employee and interdepartmental relations.
• Provide in-services to employees as appropriate.
• Gather statistical data as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
