Our passion, creativity, and innovation drive us to capture what moves. We are adding an HR Generalist to our Team in New Jersey! The Human Resources Generalist will support our manufacturing employees within MANE Fragrance Division. This role is responsible for delivering day-to-day human resources services at the fragrance manufacturing and warehouse locations. The HR Generalist works closely with plant leadership, managers, and employees to foster a positive work environment, ensure consistent application of company policies, and support business objectives. A significant focus of this position is providing onsite HR support at the Fragrance manufacturing and warehouse facilities, acting as a trusted resource for employees and leaders while partnering with the Senior HR Business Partner on strategic and operational HR initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a HR Generalist or related role.
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing, distribution, or operational workforce preferred.
  • Experience with employee relations, leave administration, and HR compliance required.
  • Experience in supporting recruitment and onboarding activities preferred.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, leave administration processes, and employee accommodations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and timekeeping systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR presence at the Fragrance Manufacturing and Logistics Warehouse locations
  • Build strong relationships with employees, supervisors, and managers to promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.
  • Address employee questions and concerns regarding policies, procedures, benefits, attendance, and workplace matters.
  • Conduct and support employee relations investigations, including gathering facts, documenting findings, and recommending solutions.
  • Partner with managers to resolve workplace concerns, performance issues, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
  • Assist with the implementation and communication of HR programs, initiatives, and organizational changes.
  • Support employee recognition and engagement activities.
  • Manage the manufacturing site's security badge system, including badge issuance, badge documentation, access updates, replacements, and deactivation for employee separations.
  • Assist with policy interpretation and consistent application for the Fragrance manufacturing and warehouse locations.
  • Monitor compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Manager with manufacturing recruitment activities as needed to support timely and effective hiring of production and operations talent.
  • Act as a backup resource for non-exempt employee timekeeping and timesheet administration at the fragrance manufacturing and warehouse locations.
  • Assist managers and employees with timekeeping inquiries, corrections, approvals, and troubleshooting.
  • Support compliance with wage and hour regulations.
  • Partner with and provide support to the Fragrance HR Training Manager as needed.
  • Assist with coordinating training schedules, logistics, and employee participation.
  • Help maintain the manufacturing and warehouse locations training records and monitor completion requirements.
  • Assist with learning and development initiatives and employee development programs.
