About The Position

The HR Generalist is responsible for managing and supporting a wide range of human resources functions at Medivant Healthcare, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll processing, performance management, compliance, and HR administration. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth HR operations while fostering a positive and compliant work environment. The ideal candidate will be bilingual, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple HR functions in a fast-paced environment. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to partner with employees and leadership across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3–6 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role, including payroll processing.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (both written and verbal) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, payroll processes, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, or payroll systems. Preferred Experience in ADP Workforce
  • Prior experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated environments.
  • Experience supporting audits and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring proper documentation, orientation, and system updates.
  • Process payroll accurately and on time, including reviewing timesheets, validating data, and coordinating with finance for payroll execution.
  • Maintain and update employee records, HRIS systems, and personnel files with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, and general HR support.
  • Support employee relations by addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and ensuring appropriate documentation and resolution.
  • Assist in performance management processes, including reviews, feedback tracking, and employee development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with finance teams to ensure accurate payroll inputs, deductions, and reporting.
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee communications.
  • Translate verbal and written communication between English and Spanish as needed.
  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and metrics for management review.
  • Support training programs, employee engagement initiatives, and HR projects.
  • Assist with audits and maintain HR documentation in an inspection-ready state.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support HR best practices.
