About The Position

The HR Generalist serves as a trusted, onsite human resources partner responsible for team member relations, talent acquisition, onboarding coordination, policy interpretation, performance management support, workplace investigations, and occupational safety program support. This role exercises independent judgment and discretion in evaluating team member and workplace matters, advising leaders, resolving routine and moderately complex issues, and recommending appropriate actions consistent with company policy, values, and applicable requirements. The HR Generalist serves as a key bilingual resource for English- and Spanish-speaking team members and will manage all talent acquisition functions until hiring volume consistently supports the addition of a dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; HR certification is a plus.
  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
  • Experience in employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, recruiting, and onboarding.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Working knowledge of employment practices, HR compliance, and HR documentation; UKG Ready or similar HRIS experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, confidentiality, and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary HR resource for leaders and team members on policies, performance, attendance, employee relations, and workplace concerns.
  • Address employee relations matters, support corrective actions, conduct workplace investigations, and escalate high-risk issues as appropriate.
  • Provide bilingual HR support to English- and Spanish-speaking team members.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviews, candidate communication, offers, and recruiting metrics.
  • Coordinate pre-employment activities and new hire orientation, partnering with HRIS to ensure accurate and timely employee information.
  • Maintain occupational safety records and support employee engagement, culture initiatives, company events, and other HR responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested by Leadership.
