We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative HR Generalist to join our team on a temporary basis while a member of our HR team is on leave. This role will support a variety of human resources and payroll functions, ensuring a seamless experience for employees and helping maintain day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with UKG (formerly UltiPro) is highly preferred.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience required
  • Experience supporting payroll processing or payroll administration.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with UKG (formerly UltiPro) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to the HR team across a variety of employee lifecycle activities.
  • Coordinate and initiate new hire onboarding.
  • Process employment and income verification requests for lenders, prospective employers, and employees.
  • Manage unemployment claims and related documentation.
  • Review and audit bi-weekly payroll for accuracy prior to processing.
  • Respond to employee inquiries through the HR inbox and route requests as appropriate.
  • Process payroll adjustments, deduction changes, earnings updates, and other manual payroll corrections as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute recurring monthly HR reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Support HR leadership with additional projects and administrative tasks as needed.
