The Human Resources Generalist (HRG) supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department and serves as a key resource for employees and supervisors across a broad range of HR functions. Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources, this position supports the following functions under the HR department: talent acquisition, payroll and benefits administration, performance management, training and development initiatives, employee relations and compliance. The HRG provides guidance and high-level support to employees and supervisors regarding policies, and procedures, while helping ensure consistent application of employment practices across the institution. This role plays a critical part in maintaining compliance with applicable employment laws, supporting HRIS data integrity, and promoting efficient and effective HR business operations. Through collaboration, operational integrity, and customer focused responsive service, the HRG contributes to a positive, compliant, and employee-centered workplace culture that supports organizational goals and workforce success.
