About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and adaptable HR Generalist on a temporary assignment to support the day-to-day Human Resources functions within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. This role is ideal for someone looking to build and grow their HR career through hands-on experience across multiple areas of Human Resources including recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, HR administration, and workforce support.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of HR, administrative, customer service, or related experience is considered an asset
  • Recent graduates with relevant co-op or internship experience are encouraged to apply
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Support daily HR operations and respond to employee and leader inquiries
  • Assist with recruitment activities including creating job requisitions and coordinating interviews
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
  • Support attendance tracking, reporting, and general HR administration
  • Assist with employee relations matters and help facilitate positive workplace interactions
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and support employee orientation processes
  • Assist with training coordination, engagement initiatives, and internal communication
  • Ensure HR practices are aligned with company policies, procedures, and employment standards legislation
