About The Position

Momentum Senior Living is a boutique, California-based senior living management company operating communities across the U.S. We take a hands-on, innovative approach and are building strong teams that support both our residents and employees. We’re looking for a Human Resources Generalist to support our growing, multi-state organization. This role is hands-on and works closely with our CHRO and community leadership on employee relations, benefits, payroll, and compliance. Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of California labor laws and leave management
  • Experience with benefits, workers’ comp, and payroll coordination
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • HRIS experience (Paylocity a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Support employee relations, investigations, and manager coaching
  • Administer benefits (ICHRA, 401k) and assist with renewals and underwriting
  • Manage and track workers’ compensation claims and support return-to-work
  • Oversee leave of absence programs (FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA)
  • Partner with payroll and serve as backup for payroll processing
  • Lead training for directors on HR practices and compliance
  • Support onboarding, HR processes, and multi-state compliance
