About The Position

Hoffmaster is seeking an HR Generalist to lead recruiting efforts at their Clintonville facility. This role involves managing the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers, and developing creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent. The HR Generalist will play a key role in strengthening the workforce, supporting HR initiatives, and ensuring a seamless hiring process from first contact through onboarding, all while delivering a positive employee and candidate experience that reflects Hoffmaster’s culture and values.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent professional qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of recruiting, HR, or related experience
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive situations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Dayforce or other HRIS/ATS platforms
  • Professional HR certification or accreditation
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or operations-based recruiting
  • Background in sourcing and recruiting across multiple skillsets or departments
  • Experience supporting onboarding, employee engagement, or broader HR initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding coordination
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, align on hiring strategies, and support workforce planning efforts
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects Hoffmaster’s culture, values, and employer brand
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates in a competitive hiring environment
  • Manage recruiting systems and job postings across applicant tracking systems and external recruiting platforms
  • Maintain accurate job descriptions and support consistent hiring processes across the organization
  • Support HR initiatives and employee engagement efforts that align with organizational goals
  • Ensure compliance with employment policies and regulations while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and programs
