About The Position

This HR Generalist position involves a wide range of responsibilities supporting the Human Resources department. The role assists with recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, and maintaining HR systems and compliance. The position also provides support to management in their absence and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and laws.   • FMLA/LOA processing.
  • Benefits administration.
  • Employee/labor relations.
  • Recruitment, including sourcing and posting.
  • Training and development program organization.
  • New hire orientation.
  • Disciplinary action and performance management.
  • Data entry and filing.
  • Termination processing.
  • Compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
  • Workers compensation compliance.
  • Maintenance of Nevada Gaming Employee Registration website.
  • Supervisory responsibilities in management's absence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruiting and staffing functions, including managing open position requisitions, job posting, recruitment, advertising, and sourcing of candidates.
  • Update job descriptions as needed.
  • Assist with employee events and award ceremonies.
  • Assist with FMLA/LOA processing.
  • Provide support to property management on Human Resource related systems.
  • Responsible for benefits administration.
  • Assist with day-to-day HR functions, including employee/labor relations, recruitment, training, licensing, disciplinary action, performance management, data entry, filing, and terminations.
  • Assist with new hire orientation and organize other company training and development programs.
  • Follows the Purpose and Values Models at all times.
  • Maintains human resource information system and compiles reports from the database.
  • Enters employee source data and documentation into the human resources system and manual personnel files.
  • Responsible for maintaining the Nevada Gaming Employee Registration website.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and workers compensation.
  • Regular attendance required.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
  • Provides assistance to management in their absence.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
