About The Position

As a HR Generalist, you’ll be part of our Hesston, KS team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to provide full range of day-to-day HR support to the local team including onboarding/offboarding, engagement, development, timekeeping, safety initiatives, etc. You will also be responsible for the recruitment of hourly employees through multiple methods and provide candidate screening and scheduling support. You will work together with the HR team, employees, supervisors, and managers to resolve employee relations issues as they arise, including partnering with the HR Manager on investigations; Provides some counsel to improve or correct performance issues and deficiencies. You will promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace. You will implement and monitor adherence to all organization-specific Human Resource related policies, procedures and practices, act as a liaison to staff regarding policies. You will drive employee engagement through effective communication, employee events, and activities. You will promote strong relationships between the Company and the Community to develop and maintain good corporate citizenship. You will support timekeeping and payroll activities for both the salaried and hourly workforce. You will prepare reports and metrics to measure HR effectiveness. You will perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a multinational or distribution/logistics environment.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
