About The Position

Bristol Hospice is a nationwide industry leader committed to providing a family-centered approach in the delivery of hospice services throughout our communities. We are dedicated to our mission that all patients and families entrusted to our care will be treated with the highest level of compassion, respect, and dignity. This role is based in Salt Lake City, Utah and requires candidates to reside locally to support our Corporate Headquarters. We’re looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented HR Generalist who’s passionate about driving employee engagement, improving processes, and ensuring compliance across the board.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role
• Strong working knowledge of HR functions including State Hiring Laws, Onboarding, HR Compliance, Employee Relations, FMLA, ADA
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to analyze data, create reports, and provide actionable insights
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

• HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to leaders and employees on HR policies and workplace issues
• Support employee relations investigations and performance improvement plans
• Partner with managers on onboarding, offboarding, and performance reviews
• Answer benefits and policy-related questions with clarity and care
• Analyze HR metrics to support business decisions and compliance efforts
• Other duties as assigned
