The HR Generalist is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of payroll, benefits, WSIB, employee training, and human resources compliance functions. The position plays a key role in supporting legislative compliance, employee development, and operational effectiveness across the organization. Working closely with Finance, HR, and Program Managers, this role provides office-based support to group home and program staff by ensuring payroll accuracy, benefits access, and timely management of workplace injury processes. This role also serves as the in-house trainer for Abuse Prevention and related compliance training, ensuring annual training, sign-offs, and required documentation are completed in accordance with legislation, MCCSS requirements, and organizational policy.
