About The Position

The HR Generalist plays a critical role in supporting Electro-Methods’ continued growth by delivering high-impact, hands-on human resources support across recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, and compliance. This role is designed for a high-growth aerospace manufacturing environment, requiring strong operational HR capability, ADP Workforce Now expertise, and the ability to partner closely with production leaders to support workforce expansion, onboarding, retention, and engagement. The HR Generalist will serve as a front-line HR business partner to the shop floor, ensuring alignment with Electro-Methods’ Cultural Cornerstones (Safety, Precision, Excellence, Collaboration).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of HR Generalist experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing or aerospace strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience supporting high-volume hiring environments.
  • Strong experience with ADP Workforce Now (required).
  • HRIS reporting and data analytics capability.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms and onboarding systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for direct and indirect roles.
  • Partner with Operations to support rapid hiring targets and workforce ramp plans.
  • Manage candidate pipelines, screening, and offer processes.
  • Support onboarding programs.
  • Drive time-to-fill targets (<35 days for critical roles).
  • Serve as system lead for ADP Workforce Now, including employee data management, onboarding workflows, learning and development, and reporting and analytics.
  • Ensure data accuracy, reporting integrity, and process standardization.
  • Partner with leadership on HR metrics (attrition, hiring, overtime trends).
  • Act as point of contact for employee relations matters.
  • Coach supervisors and Cell Leaders on performance management and discipline.
  • Support execution of the performance review process.
  • Reinforce Cultural Cornerstones through recognition and feedback programs.
  • Promote a positive, high-accountability shop floor culture.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and aerospace regulatory environments (AS9100/NADCAP awareness).
  • Support audit readiness and documentation integrity.
  • Maintain employee records and HR policies.
  • Contribute to HR process improvement aligned with Lean principles.
  • Support HR technology maturity and reporting capability.
  • Partner on workforce development initiatives.
