About The Position

GHJ Search and Staffing serves as the recruitment division of GHJ, a prominent national accounting and advisory firm. Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential. A globally connected organization is seeking a hands-on Temp or Temp to Hire HR Generalist Recruiter to step in immediately and support its North American office. This is a high-impact, standalone role supporting ~60+ employees, with an initial and heavy focus on recruiting, specifically marketing and sales professionals, while maintaining core HR operations. This temp or temp to hire opportunity offers potential for long-term conversion based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

  • ~5+ years of HR experience with a strong emphasis on recruiting, ideally for marketing and sales roles
  • Experience operating in a standalone or lean HR environment preferred
  • Ability to step in quickly, prioritize hiring needs, and manage multiple requisitions
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally and internationally
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, hands-on environment
  • Proven track record of stability and reliability in prior roles

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts with an immediate focus on hiring marketing and sales talent
  • Source, screen, and manage candidates across multiple open roles in a high-activity environment
  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for day-to-day employee needs and HR operations
  • Manage onboarding and ensure a smooth candidate-to-employee transition experience
  • Support employee engagement and retention initiatives during a period of change
  • Partner with leadership on hiring priorities and workforce planning
  • Collaborate with the global HR team in Europe to maintain alignment with company policies
  • Ensure compliance with HR regulations and support employee relations as needed
