About The Position

Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in the manufacturing of construction chemicals and building materials, including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile, and concrete restoration. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will support a wide range of human resources programs and initiatives that contribute to employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and compliance. This role partners with employees and management to administer HR processes, maintain HR systems, coordinate training and performance management activities, and support day-to-day human resources operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One to two years of Human Resources experience or related professional experience.
  • Working knowledge of employee relations, HR administration, benefits, training, performance management, and employment compliance.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and maintaining employee records and reporting.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS software, and internet-based applications.

Nice To Haves

  • ADP and/or Oracle HCM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the administration, implementation, and evaluation of performance management programs within the Company's HRIS system.
  • Support key human resources functions including employee relations, benefits administration, training and development, staffing, retention, compliance, and personnel transactions.
  • Maintain and administer the HRIS system, ensuring employee records, organizational data, training documentation, policies, and procedures remain current and accurate.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to employees and managers regarding company policies, procedures, programs, and employment-related matters.
  • Coordinate employee training initiatives, education reimbursement programs, HR communications, and related documentation.
  • Assist with employee onboarding, benefits enrollment, record management, and other HR administrative processes.
  • Prepare organizational charts, reports, communications, and other HR-related documentation.
  • Support HR budget administration through invoice processing and expense tracking.
  • Coordinate relocation activities and serve as a liaison with external partners, including immigration counsel and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and applicable business management system requirements.
  • Organize and support employee engagement and community outreach initiatives.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures and instructions as defined in our Quality Management System (QMS), Employee Handbook, Health and Safety manual, or any other instruction issued by the company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
