About The Position

We are seeking a highly discreet, detail-oriented HR Coordinator with experience in the hospitality industry to join our team. This role plays a critical part in supporting daily HR operations while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the unique dynamics of hospitality staffing, and demonstrates absolute integrity when handling sensitive employee and organizational information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience required
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably within hospitality, hotels, or service-based industries
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, employment law, and compliance standards
  • Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with integrity
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with high-volume, fast paced, with constanct change
  • Knowledge of scheduling/workforce systems common in hospitality
  • Bilingual capabilities (a plus depending on workforce needs)
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred, not required

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update confidential employee records in HRIS systems with strict adherence to privacy protocols
  • Serve as a trusted liaison between employees and leadership on HR-related matters
  • Support recruitment efforts including scheduling interviews, managing candidate communications, and maintaining applicant tracking systems
  • Assist in employee relations matters while ensuring discretion and compliance with company policies
  • Coordinate training sessions, compliance certifications, and performance review processes
  • Process employment verifications, background checks, and HR documentation securely
  • Support payroll coordination and benefits administration while safeguarding sensitive compensation data
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, especially within hospitality environments
  • Handle highly sensitive employee data (disciplinary actions, compensation, investigations, etc.) with absolute confidentiality
  • Adhere to all data protection, privacy, and record retention policies
  • Exercise sound judgment when managing confidential or escalated situations
  • Maintain professionalism and neutrality in all employee interactions
  • Protect company and employee information both inside and outside the workplace
