About The Position

The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the Human Resources function. This role is responsible for coordinating recruiting activities, onboarding and offboarding processes, employee records management, HR compliance, benefits administration, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of Human Resources, recruiting, administrative, or related experience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
  • Assist with job postings, applicant tracking, and hiring documentation.
  • Facilitate pre-employment screenings and background checks.
  • Prepare and distribute offer letters and onboarding materials.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure a positive onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
  • Process employee status changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Maintain personnel files and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Generate HR reports and support audits as needed.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and related inquiries.
  • Coordinate benefit enrollment periods and update employee information.
  • Support payroll processes by maintaining accurate employee data and submitting changes in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with benefit providers and vendors as needed.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating employee engagement activities and recognition programs.
  • Support performance management and training initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Assist with policy updates and communication efforts.
  • Support HR projects and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in HR audits and compliance reviews.
