About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused HR Coordinator to support daily Human Resources operations. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees, providing assistance with HR inquiries, onboarding, Workday support, payroll and benefits administration, employee records management, and HR programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR operations, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Workday.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or HR Operations role.
  • Experience with onboarding, employee records management, and HR administration.
  • Hands-on experience with I-9 verification and E-Verify processes.
  • Proficiency with Workday required.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries via shared inbox and voicemail.
  • Respond to routine questions regarding benefits, leave administration, compensation, payroll, and HR policies, escalating complex matters as needed.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies and retention guidelines.
  • Process employment verification requests and maintain confidentiality of employee information.
  • Maintain and update employee-facing Workday guides, resources, and instructional materials.
  • Create and manage training documentation and videos for Workday self-service functions.
  • Partner with HR subject matter experts to ensure information remains accurate and up to date.
  • Identify opportunities to improve employee resources based on recurring inquiries and feedback.
  • Coordinate pre-employment onboarding activities, including new hire communications, data verification, and equipment or welcome package requests.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation sessions and HR systems training.
  • Manage I-9 verification and E-Verify processes while ensuring compliance with federal requirements.
  • Process employee separations, exit documentation, benefits notifications, and final timecard review.
  • Prepare and submit bi-weekly payroll documentation and assist with payroll audits.
  • Review payroll information for accuracy and coordinate resolution of discrepancies.
  • Support employee benefits programs and answer routine benefit-related inquiries.
  • Perform benefits audits across HRIS, payroll, and carrier systems.
  • Coordinate logistics for employee training programs and learning events.
  • Manage course setup, enrollment, attendance tracking, and participant communications.
  • Support company wellness initiatives and employee engagement activities.
  • Process departmental invoices and assist with budget tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for interviews and recruiting activities.
  • Manage Outlook distribution lists and support general office and departmental operations.
  • Assist with HR meetings, presentations, agendas, and special projects.
