The primary purpose of your job position is to assist the DSD/DON/Administrator in administering policies and implementing facility orientation. This role supports organizational goals and values, requiring the individual to uphold strict confidentiality, be team-oriented, and a results-oriented self-starter. The HR Coordinator will assist in the recruitment and on-boarding of new employees, including candidate screening, interviews, and scheduling. They will also be responsible for data entry, preparing HR-related reports, and updating employment records. A key function includes administering benefits programs and working with the Risk Manager on HR/WC cases. The role also involves coordinating the safety program, scheduling health examinations, documenting drills, and maintaining good public relations. Additionally, the HR Coordinator will manage workflow for accurate and timely payroll processing, including monitoring garnishments, updating payroll records, issuing paychecks, preparing reports, processing manual and termination checks, determining payroll liabilities, monitoring sick and vacation accruals, completing employment verifications, preparing payroll allocations reports, reconciling payroll accounts, and maintaining confidentiality of payroll information. This position may have supervisory responsibilities for a HR Assistant.
