About The Position

The HR Coordinator II is responsible for designing and implementing overall recruiting strategies, consulting with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives, and sourcing candidates through various channels. This role involves evaluating and screening resumes, conducting interviews, and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managers. The HR Coordinator II also prepares onboarding sessions, handles new hire paperwork, maintains interview records, and stays updated on recruiting methods. Key duties include communicating staffing needs, tracking staffing daily and weekly, scheduling candidates for interviews, arranging translators, extending job offers, and attending job fairs and career events. Any other job tasks as assigned will also be part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Recruiting coordinator or HR professional
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline
  • Solid knowledge of HR policies and best practices
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks
  • Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency based and behavioral)
  • Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems
  • Ability to use assessment tools
  • Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn/Facebook
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing overall recruiting strategy

  • Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislation requirements are met
  • Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires
  • Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods
  • Communicate throughout complex for staffing needs, daily and weekly tracking of staffing
  • Schedule candidate for each step of the hiring process
  • Schedule translators as needed
  • Conduct job offers
  • Attend job fairs and careers events
  • Any other job tasks as assigned
